Program Partnerships

Florida International University (FIU) in support of the Lennar Foundation, in addition to the Miami area  we will now offer the FIU Preapprenticeship Program in the west coast of Florida servicing the areas of Naples, Ft. Myers, West Palm Beach, the Justice System and Orlando. The FIU Preapprenticeship Program provides a complete curriculum of nationally recognized certifications as an Accredited Training Sponsor by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Classes are offered in two languages, in many different trades. 

This project is a partnership with United Way Miami for UpSkill Miami. UpSkill Miami provides individuals with training and job opportunities in construction trades - Electrical. Offered in 6-months and 16-weeks terms with classes in locations including Hialeah, FIU Engineering Center, Overtown, and more! 

United Way is committed to driving workforce development and helping boost economic mobility. The new partnership establishes a commitment with Florida International University (FIU)- Construction Trades Program.
